  “If you've ever gotten to the campground late and had to assemble a tent by flashlight; this item is for you. I found myself in that situation recently and went on a quest for a solution as soon as we got home. I chose this headlamp because of the dimming abilities and waterproofing. Even on the lowest white light setting, this thing still lit up my whole yard at night; the brightest is BRIGHT. Even with the street lights on at home, the high setting was visible over 100 feet away. I can't even imagine how well this will work once I get back into the woods. One aspect that I overlooked when ordering this product was the adjustable pitch of the lamp. It has several settings to aim the beam lower than straight forward. This would help to light up a path for walking. On the lowest setting, it is aimed directly in front of you; a great position to work on something with your hands without blinding yourself. The headband is very adjustable and comfortable.”

  “I was looking for a better quality and higher lumen output headlamp to use when the standard fair from the usual sporting goods stores just won't cut it. In addition, I wanted the flexibility of an adjustable beam pattern. Working in the lighting industry, I know a few things about light output and distribution patterns. A collection of several individual low output LED's wasn't going to cut it for me. This product uses a very good CREE COB (chip on board) LED module, which for those who are familiar with the LED world know CREE is the world's leading manufacturer of top notch products. So enough of the background - how does it work? The first press of the button suggested I was in for a pleasant surprise. I was standing on my deck in the pitch black, which had just turned to near daylight in all directions with the beam pattern adjusted to maximum flood. Adjusting the beam to a narrow spot brought the pattern to a small and very intense focus. When in spot mode the beam will appear”
